   Great fan with plenty of wind without being massive, gave 4 star for remote as nowhere in the description does it tell you there is an infra red pickup which has to sit outside the fan housing, also that to reverse the fan you have to flick a switch on the fan housing itself.However fan is silent even on full power. Light is bright. Altogether very pleased with purchase and considering getting another for the bedroom.

    Easy to install, just take your time and enjoy it.Existing wiring in my ceiling was the usual mess, so i decided to use a 4piece terminal block and add a length of 3 core to push through the ceiling. Glad i did as it gets very crowded inside the fan assembly.One niggle is that the instructions only tell you towards the very end that you will have to insert the remote control receiver into the only space there is…but i had used this space for my 3core. Would have been a complete nightmare if i had retained the old wiring.Second little niggle is that the finish is especially vulnerable to tiny scratches, particularly the silver fan blades. I took my time and wasnt slapdash but still managed to put small scratches on it. Maybe Im just a clutzThe spots are fantastic as you can light the dark corners easily, so much better than the usual solitary bright light in the center of the room which doesnt illuminate evenly throughout the room dont need auxiliary lighting now. Great to choose your colour temperature too, not limited to preinstalled LEDs.The remote looks like its from a 40 yearold VCR, just a bit clunky looking.All in all, a nice piece of kit
