Smaller than I expected, and this is a very positive surprise! It is also directional enough, so that I can expose for the shadows, when ever I need to.Fine pouch for protection also, and a very nice long lanyard.

  2. DoBar

Excellent small meter for use with my Leicas. I have compared readings with this meter (both reflected and incident) against a range of readings from my Sekonic L-508 spot/incident meter and the readings are near enough identical, which is what I would expect from a maker like Sekonic!

  3. Molly Miller

    Fine pouch for protection also

  4. jim tye

Excellent product from Sekonic. It is highly accurate, when compared to my DSLR, but very small in size. Easy to put into a pocket when using my old non-metered film cameras.

  5. Lizie

Has taken me back 40 years but I needed a light meter to go with my Leica M3 which doesn’t have a meter. It looks retro and exposure isn’t spot on with my later digital M but a tiny off

Small and Retro – Helps if you have used one before

Although made of plastic the unit has a positive ‘feel’ about it. It is simple to use and produces exactly the same readings for reflected light as my Canon 5D2. Certainly recommended for anyone taking steps back to old film cameras.

  9. Paul J. Williams

I am using old film-cameras, that either do not have a light-meter or their light-meter is busted.I was happy to see that the readings provided by this light meter were very close to the readings of my digital camera’s light meter.Very light and very easy to use.It also has a nice hotshoe mount you can adjust in an appropriate position below the lightmeter according to your camera’s hotshoe positionso that the lightmeter sits directly above the lens when mounted on the hotshoe.

    Great Device for film photographers
