The product is amazing. The only thing i don’t like about it is that you can only charge it by external battery. I had to buy one as it didn’t charge from the one I was using, not sure if it was the device’s fault or the battery’s fault. otherwise it’s great.

Dont risk missing important video opportunities or work by getting this defective gimbal. Go to google or YouTube and type in defective mini-mi and so many videos and comments will pop up.

Most useful tool for using a smart phone as a camera, given that their lenses are, nowadays, of very good quality. It takes some practice to learn how to use it. The manual is very sparse so you’re better off looking for tutorials on Youtube. Basically, 2 ways to use it: 1)the phone stays in the plane of the gimbal 2)the phone stays in the plane of the earth, no matter what your movements are. Stabilisation is great, most especially for interviews. Think of it as a stabiliser, rather than as a small crane. Voilà.

My first gimbal so have nothing else to compare it to. But as it is I’m impressed. Holds well, weight seems good, functions seem to work well. I Just need to get use to it. Only downfall is the app/software. Good number of mounts and wireless charging is a good feature. There do seem to be a few glitches with the app but if they fix it and improve the software then this is one serious device. Basics work without the app too so you can use normal video and filmic pro. If filmic pro build in support for this then that will be amazing. For the things I want to do this should do the job.

This is a great stabilizer. Its a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but still works very good. Had to log into YouTube to figure out how to use it, but there are some great videos.

really wanted to like this gimbal for the special features like 360 rotation and the inception mode.but inspite of its higher payload it cannot hold my note8. I have a very thin spigen case but the phone still does not fit into the grooves of the clamp barely hangs on.the clamp goes over the bixby button and keeps pressing it. tried adjusting the phone to avoid this but it will not balance. even after leveling it as much as possible,when I move the gimbal it starts tilting to one side and keeps readjusting itself till the motors get overheated and drop.the final straw was when I turned it on after calibrating and the gimbal started spinning rapidly, banging my phone screen on itself and cracking it. and I’m not even going to start on the poorly designed Android app. as much as I wanted to like it and give it a chance it was nothing short of a disappointment and I couldn’t make it work no matter how much I tried. switched to a zhiyun smooth 4 and so much happier.
