    Only buy this if you are into action sports. I am a professional photographer and this product is difficult to use.The camera itself is great but forget about trying to share the footage with anyone. It’s a pain!You can upload to YouTube through their phone app but the exported quality is utter garbage. So you have to export onto your computer and use several apps and hours to get it at super high res.Far too much effort for so little.I’m going to sell mine as I don’t have time or effort for this.And don’t buy a GoPro either. Same issue!

    Although bought for my trips abroad which seems unlikely this year. I’ve been impressed with the hardware and software of the twin edition bundle.I’ve upgraded from a gopro 5 and sold the gopro after a few days as the insta360 easily surpasses it on features. The phone app is especially good, has frequent updates as does the camera firmware to add new features. This is my first 360 camera and I’ve been impressed with it, especially used with the 360 stick so you can create your own Matrix bullet times. The stabilisation is great and eco system is good already have a few of the accessories from insta360. All in all recommended if you want something a bit more versatile than a gopro.

    The ability of this camera to simultaneously take videos from both the front and rear of the unit and then seamlessly stitch these together, was the main reason for my purchasing the One R. As a regular cyclist, having the ability to record high definition video streams of what’s happening both behind and ahead of me on today’s busy roads and off-road tracks, is a big plus in the event of an incident or an accident. The Insta360 blurb states that the One R is ‘ready for breakneck speeds and strong vibrations’. Sadly, from my experience, the latter statement is not true. Strong vibrations cause merry havoc with the One R which switches from record mode to standby mode at will under anything but the smoothest of road surfaces. Some threads suggest that the use of inappropriate SD cards and the way that these are formatted can be the reason for this. However, I use the recommended micro SD cards and format these through the camera. If the One R makes it to the 30-minute mark, it sometimes continues recording after a brief pause, but most of the time it enters standby mode and stays there, refusing to restart recording. It will eventually start recording again after being shut down and turned back on several times – clearly not a safe thing to do while cycling. If I put the camera on a flat, motionless surface, it will quite happily continue recording past the 30-minute mark and will carry on doing so until the battery dies. The camera is also quite heavy and with overhanging branches etc. when cycling off road, a helmet mount is not ideal. Knowing if the camera is recording or not is also more challenging with a helmet mount. I love the video output that this camera produces and but for the vibration problems and some connectivity issues, I’d have given this a higher rating. For me, the regular and random switching from record mode to standby mode while cycling, makes it virtually unusable for this purpose.

    Official store sells for 200$ cheap but will take a lot of time to get the product.. so someone who needs it right away, ClickElectronics is the best option. Product is really good
