OMG had an electrician to put those on my house Holly glory do they look amazing I have bought 10 of them lol I didnt want to spend all that money for hue version as they produce same light, got them installed on 13amp switch so I can switch them onoff when I want with my finger lol O have purchased warm white color as I think cool white is not natural and strange but this is only my option. Overall fantastic lights worth every penny and ohhh God do they look sexy

I bought two of these one with PIR and one without for my front and back door respectively.I have installed the one on the back door but will be returning the other. They both suffer from the same design flaw and that is the position of the entry hole for the power cable theres only one entry point and its in the bottom right of the light. This means if you are replacing an existing external light and the cable has been positioned centrally behind your existing fitting then this light will end up being much higher and off centre from your cable position.The one I fitted on the rear looks ok slightly higher than I would have liked but I can live with it. However the front light would have looked ridiculous higher than the top of our front door.These lights really ought to have two entry hole choices with the option of a top center entry. Theres plenty of room for an extra hole and it would have only required an extra rubber grommet to block off the other hole.The lights look nice and give out a decent warm light and they were otherwise easy to install so if you are having wiring put in especially for these this probably wont be an issue but do bear the cable entry in mind if replacing an existing light.

It is important to know that you can only feed cable entry from the rear there is no provision for side entry and any modification to the base plate for this purpose would cause serious damage. I have had to construct a wooden mount on the wall to provide rear cable entry. Even the hole for cable entry is not in the middle but instead in a bottom corner. This means that even you have a cable coming through the wall it is unlikely to allow you to position the lamp where you want it.Having built a base unit and mounted the base plate on it the lamp works fine but when you fit the outer case it doesnt completely cover the base plate. Instead there is a 18 inch gap making the white base plate visible from the side. Overall this is not a well designed unit.
