I have both the Mavic Pro and a Phantom 4 which have proven excellent aircraft over the years. I had a nice long trip to Australia coming up and I went for a Mavic Mini as well as taking my Mavic Pro.Well, the Pro was only used a couple times while the Mini was so portable and easy to use that it more than delivered what I needed as a tourist. Sadly I didn’t get out into nature as much as I wanted but for small flights (within all the legal limits) it proved excellent. Initially I thought the limited camera controls, especially no white balance controls, would hinder me but I found the footage and stills spot on.Another thing it was very good at was horizon level. Far better than the original Pro especially when doing a slow 360 degree pan.I hope they add some more features such as automated panoramas, but as it is it delivers everything I would expect as a casual tourist drone.
