Got three of these, one for outside the porch and two for beside the French doors round back. They look great in both places. Provide a decent amount of light and look good at the same time.

Die Lampe ist sehr schn verarbeitet, der kleine Aufpreis zu gnstigeren Modellen hat sich gelohnt. Von mir also eine klare Empfehlung

Conforme limage, joli rendu. Par contre les carreaux ne sont pas maintenus, donc pendant la pose pas trs pratique il faut les maintenir tout en posant lapplique.

Great product and well build. Light is very bright as well. The metal frame is very solid and gives weight to the light however the plastic is a bit light. The one complain I have is that there is no space to store the wire at the back of the light. So you cant really position the light away from where youre wire comes out of the wall. We anyway had a wire in the wall so were kind of stuck.

These are smart looking lights with a grey cast metal frame around the lens and non changeable LEDs. They look quite smart but a big minus for me was that they are not designed for surface mount cable which is a common requirement for outdoor lighting. The surface mount problem is fixable to a degree. When fitted to a wall there is a small gap between the lamp and the wall. It only actually touches the wall at the mounting screw points and the surround of the cable entry. I trimmed one side of the cable entry with a Dremel to allow the twin and earth cable space to turn flat on the rear of the unit and then a couple of plastic washers glued to the back of each screw point gave enough clearance for the cable. A bit basic but looks OK when finished its totally safe. Note that I used 1.5 mm twin and earth. If any armoured cable was required this fix would not really work.Once finished the lights look quite good and put out a reasonable amount of light.I find reviews helpful. Ours died after just under 4 years very little use and its under a covered veranda on its own switch.Sent back to Philips they paid for return so no complaints there and was received back by them fairly quickly. Took a while to get the replacement but unfortunately they sent the more expensive version with the PIR sensor. Because this is a light for some outdoor seating, the sensor is neither use nor ornament for me, I want to be in control of the light via a switch, not via a timeout. While fitting the new one, took the PIR sensor apart but turns out this is unnecessary. Its a very simple circuit, live goes into the PIR, and then goes back out to the light as a switched liveSimply pull the doubledup liveswitched live out from under the light unit its crimped together, cut the outgoing live wire out, and refeed it into the chocolate block instead. You can safely disconnect the Neutral wire coming from the sensor, and just put insulation tape on all three coming from the sensor there is no current going through it in this setup. See picture for more details. You have to leave the sensor installed as otherwise youll have a gap in the assembly.Time will tell how long this one lasts.

Came in record time Love them. Not supplier issue but more manufacturer. Hole for incoming power lead is offset to right. Needs to be centred or have to entry points. I was replacing 2 existing lights, but solved this by drilling additional hole in back plate. Other than this minor issue, love them
