    Although it has its shortfalls, but for a traveling lenses it cover most of the ranges and give good enough picture, fast focus, no need to carry multiple lenses, for the price this is a good buy.

    This lens is very compact and relatively sharp. It is a great travel lens providing the perfect level of wide to telephoto for most photo situations saving the bulk and hassle of carrying multiple lenses.

    Love this lens! It replaces several lenses & travels well…ironically though this is a replacement (now on a Nikon D5600) for one stolen along with our D5200 while on vacation!     Ho letto diverse recensioni e guardato diversi video. Molti parlano di immagini sfuocate o cattive risoluzioni. Partendo dal presupposto che non sono un professionista ma solo un amatore, nel mio ultimo viaggio mi ha davvero soddisfatto. Non ho trovato immagini sfuocate, e pesante ma non eccessivamente, è sempre una focale da 300. Io mi sento di consigliarlo per la praticità. Per me ottimo acquisto, per 350 euro.

    We have been looking for an all-round travel lens for our Nikon D7200. We had read some good reports on the Tamron 16-300 but having owned Tamron before we were skeptical about the true quality.The lens arrived few days ago and we have been running a lot of test shots at different apertures and focal lengths to check image quality. We have been really, really impressed. It compares exceptionally well to the Sigma Art 50-100 F1.2 portrait lens which, if you don’t own one is probably the best lenses ever made for an APSC camera. This Tamron isn’t quite as good but it comes damn close.Image quality is excellent at A2 print size right from 18- 300 and if anything, the lens is sharper at the higher focal lengths. Light gathering is good and dynamic range excellent.If you are looking for an all-round lens for travel, landscapes and general portraits then this would be a very affordable option.
