Streetphotography) leider unbrauchbar.

So far the lens has been doing a good job. Still need to put it through some good tests when the weather greats better. So far though it does a good job.

There is no IS in the lens, so should not grade it. The chroma is more than expected given it is just 2.8 lens. But, it also is sharp and fun to work with. Light and ultimate not much to complain about

The image quality seems great and good macro capabilities, but has this horrible gachigachi NOISE for both autofocus and aperture change that is unusable for video. Also significant focus breathing.I heard that Tamron’s new lens is super quiet and bought this without much research. Unfortunately I guess that only applies to their zoom lens…

I use this lens for vlogging purposes only. Recently I took photos with this lens to see its imaging.Im not a professional photographer but I am a professional videographer. The images I get from my Sony A7 with this lens is great. The bokeh is just ok. Its enough to bring separation but not creamy.Id buy this lens again only because its so affordable and the results are great for a budget conscious buyer that need a wide angle lens that will produce good images.

This lens is very sharp in the centers even at 2.8. The macro capability is legit. That is the reason I almost kept it, but ultimately the AF is too sluggish, the manual focus experience isnt great, and the distortion is so complex that by the time you correct youve lost a significant number of megapixels. I was disappointed with the Samyang 24 2.8 due to its image quality. Here, ignoring the distortion, the image quality is definitely there, but there are other issues that make $350 for this hard to swallow. If you really want an AF prime in this length I think its still down to either the Batis or the GM.

great lens, very sharp, but returned due to the extreme slowness in focusing

Buen lente
David Gregory –
It is very sharp and lite but it pumps in an out as it focuses on a moving subject. I do a lot of instructional videos and as the subject moves while he speaks the background pumps in and out.Fantastic for stills and it renders nicely though.

Great image quality sacrificed to distortion correction
