Recently tested the lens on my Nikon D800, and I have to admit that the results are just fantastic. Even at aperture 1.4, heavy vignetting aside, the results are just lovely. Don’t regret having spent the money on this lens, would do again!

Cracking lens. I bought this for my Nikon D750 and have not been disappointed. I’m only a hobby photographer and haven’t been doing it long. There is little distortion even on subjects quite close up. Fantastic for night shots and the wide aperture means you can take photos with a very shallow depth of field. Build quality is outstanding on a lens that is probably a third of the price of similar lenses in the class.
