i’ve a few very good sigma canon-fit lenses, but they’re years old. they’re not part of the global series of lenses that sigma says ARE fully compatible with this adaptor. however, i thought i’d give it a try on a sony A7. first thing to say is that the autofocus *doesn’t* work with any of the lenses, when using the MC 11. however exposure, automatic shutter and aperture DO work right through the full aperture range. it’s meant that i can use my 24mm and 105mm prime lenses, and a 28-300 zoom. they can only be used manual focus, but i’ve been doing this long enough to remember how to do manual focus. glad to have those optically very good lenses available again, even if they do need to be focused manually, so the adaptor’s been a good buy.A seperate bit of praise for ClickElectronics customer services. The first order of this adaptor went missing in transit. I needed it quickly, and called ClickElectronics. The ClickElectronics rep (I’m guessing somewhere in the USA), called my local depot in Droitwich, and a replacement was sent immediately. ClickElectronics backup couldn’t have been better.
