Superb binocular from Olympus.Very well made with smooth accurate focussing. There is no play in the bridge. The optics are fully multicoated throughout, The image quality is excellent in terms of resolution, contrast and brightness and compares well with other binoculars costing at least twice the price. When compared with the Nikon Action EX equivilent the Olympus is clearly brighter and sharper and this is notably due to the poor optical coatings on the EX. The build quality of the EX is similar to the Olympus.If you are looking for a quality binocular with optical quality close to a roof prism equivilent costing at least double the price then look no further. The Olympus EXPS1 is excellent and highly recommmended.

Given the cost, these binoculars are suberb. The optics are excellent. They are good for general use, or for viewing the heavens. They are comfortable to handle. All-in-all, I am very pleased with my purchase.
