Ottima ottica grandangolare.

I got this lens after shooting almost exclusively with a 35mm F1.4 Nikkor. I don’t know if it’s because the 35mm was older, or just more sluggish, but once I put the 24mm on, I found my shooting became way faster. I could shoot from the hip, or from elsewhere, without really looking through the viewfinder. Its autofocus was just that reliable (I set my camera to single point focus, in the middle of the frame).I went through a phase where I nearly exclusively used this lens. It was particularly great for busy families (I’m a documentary family photographer), as I knew it would give me the epic action shots I wanted, and all I had to worry about was getting close and at the right angles.Recently I shot a very wet scene outside, and some water somehow splashed into the lens, but it dried out quickly and I’ve had no issues since.I would definitely recommend this lens to anyone who does any aspect of street or documentary work, or who finds themselves in tight spaces (small rooms, multiple people), etc. I’ve even shot the odd group portrait with it (in tight spaces!)… Distortion be damned!
