Bought these to replace a relatively cheap pair of ear buds which were failing. Have to say straight off that the sound quality is fantastic. However, I do find there to be several drawbacks to these head phones which I had not expected given the price point;(i) the ear buds often pair with my phone whilst docked in the charging case (case closed in my pocket) – pretty sure this isn’t meant to happen and leads to some pretty comedic exchanges between me and a apparent phantom caller.(ii) when removed from the case they don’t always (often) pair immediately with my phone (even though this is the only device I use them with). Quite often I am not able to pair buds and phone from the head phone controls (despite repeatedly watching online videos detailing the correct pairing instructions) and I’ll have to return the head phones to the case to start the process again. First world issue I know, but it gets annoying.(iii) quite often the headphones do not charge whilst in the charging case. At first I put this down to my incompetence, but the truth is there is only one position the head phones can sit in the case and they should charge from that position. In my experience, that is not always the case, and on several occasions I have been left with inpoperable head phones due to lack of charge. This is probably why issue (i) happens too(?)(iv) Noise cancellation – I know these buds are meant to offer noise cancellation but in my extensive experience they simply don’t.Short and tall of it is – I expected better from this brand and at this price point.

JBL Reflect Flow Sport – True Wireless In-EarFor many years I have been a huge admirer of JBL products, in particular their speakers. From day one, when I first become hooked on music, JBL speakers were the speakers I aimed to strive for. Over the years this company have built up a huge reputation for quality products. With this in mind, I couldn’t accept this product fast enough when it was offered to me by ClickElectronics.I have had many blue-tooth rechargeable headphones/ear buds over the past few years. To be honest, only a small percentage of those have lived up to my expectations. When these arrived, I was pleased to find that the packaging at least, met my expectations. The headphones arrived very nicely presented within a tough storage box, a clear plastic cover displays the headphones within. I’m not normally one to become excited over packaging, but the excellent packaging was hopefully an indication of the quality of headphones that were held within. Although this was very nicely presented, it did take me quite a while to work out how to actually get into the packaging without destroying it.Once removed from the box I found not only the headphones which were neatly held in their charging case. I also found two further sets of ear buds, along with two sets of ear hooks, each offering a different size to try. Also included was a short USB charging cable. The charging case is not just a case for charging the headphones. It also contains a power-bank which stores power, thus charging the earbuds every time they are placed in the case. The case holds enough stored power to recharge the earbuds for up to 20 hours before you need to recharge the case. A row of LEDs illuminate showing how much power is remaining. Four lights mean that the case is fully charged. This is bigger than similar cases that I have owned, the same can be said of the headphones which are also quite large. The charging case is well made, it has a spring loaded cover that pops down tightly when closed.Inside the charging case you will find the headphones neatly slotted inside two specially shaped holders. Underneath are the copper contacts which are used to keep the headphones fully charged. Each ear piece displays a red light when it’s in the case and is charging. Once removed, the light changes to a blue flashing light, this indicates they are in pairing mode. Once paired the blue light remains constant. After removing the headphones from the charging case, I found them to be much larger than other similar earbuds that I have tried. These are also a lot heavier than all that I’ve tried before. The build quality really is excellent, it’s clear that the larger body of the headphones must hold a serious size speaker. With this in mind, I couldn’t wait to give these a test run. After pairing with my phone, I slid each one into my ears. I am pleased to say, these were very comfortable to wear, they also seem to stay securely in place. These are the first ear-bud type headphones that have actually remained in my ears, this is without the need for me to keep poking them back in every few minutes or so. I don’t know if it’s the extra weight, the type of earbud silicone used, or just precise engineering? But, these stay put and are very comfortable to wear. What do they sound like?Well, in a nutshell.. these sound amazing! Most headphones I have tried recently seem to be bass heavy, I’m sure many love them, but I’m no fan of bass heavy headphones. I record and mix my own music, I like to hear my music as I intend it to sound. Bass heavy speakers interfere with that sound, changing the music from how I intend it to sound. Absolutely not so with these JBL Reflect Flow Sport headphones. The sound is crisp and clear, every note, high frequency or low frequency sound absolutely perfect. Nothing is lost, every detail is crystal clear. JBL certainly have lived up to all my expectations with these headphones, in fact they have far exceeded those expectations. Not only do these sound great, they also have some useful features. These are IPX7 rated, this means they will not be affected by water or sweat. Another feature is hands free operation, by using just one button, you can take calls or control your music. Bionic hearing will automatically adjust your music volume, keeping you aware of your surroundings whilst jogging, or chatting to friends whilst wearing the headphones. Lastly, the blue-tooth connection is rock solid, I have suffered no dropouts whatsoever, there is absolutely no interference, humming or crackles that I could detect. These really are top quality headphones with a top quality sound. If you are after bass heavy headphones, then you may wish to look elsewhere (or EQ the sound). These are geared up more for the audiophile who wants to listen to their music the way it is meant to be listened to. The sound is not coloured by any fancy gimmicks, just top quality speakers delivering top quality sound.Yes, the headphones may seem a little pricey at first glance, but I feel these are worth every penny of the asking price. In my opinion, quality costs money and these are pure quality.Highly Recommended!Contents:1 X JBL Reflect sport headphones3 X Various size ear tips3 X Various size freebit1 x Charging case1 x Charging cable1 x Quick start guide1 x Warranty card1 x Safety instructionsIf you have found my review at all helpful, I would very much appreciate if you could please click the ‘Helpful’ button below, thank you.

Sound is spectacular but earbuds simply will not charge unless the largest ear-insert is installed on them while in the charging case. This is very peculiar and irritating. The charging nubs/prongs on the buds themselves and the insides of the case are badly designed and will not work unless the placement of the buds is just so.Thought about returning them but since they *kinda* work I just keep them around as a spare set in case I need them. However, I would not recommend them to anyone considering a reliable set of earphones. Avoid.
