The product worked perfectly with great sound and really good battery life, until the power button broke on the top. It sank in and it was not possible to use it anymore unless you applied really strong pressure.Loved it in the beginning, but this made me think about the quality and durability of this product.Sending it back. 🙁

I hummed and hawed over this model. I was leaning towards the sound core motion but after weighing the pros and cons I went for the JBL. So glad I did this thing rocks. Huge bass and we used it to party around the campfire. Battery life is a full day playing mostly cranked. This thing floats too. So I set my phone and leave it on the shore then I head out in the kayak with this and never have to worry if it falls in. The only con would be is it is pricey.But the sound is great and I get many comments about it too. My only regret is I didn’t splurge and buy the extreme 2 now. Probably my next purchase.

Awesome sound, true bass, good power backup, easy to carry. I was in doubt with Bose SoundLink mini, but some extra bucks on jbl charge 4 paid off. Would say a little overpriced compared to charge 3, but is performance is better in all aspects.

Not HIFI quality, but listening to it at a distance, especially outside, it’s decent. It has pretty good definition, very good projection, including the bass.Sitting close to it, you can totally tell that it’s a mono speaker and, if you pay attention, that the driver is offset to the right.Bluetooth reception is great, at least as advertised. Battery life is also excellent.UPDATE: I bought also a Soundcore Motion+ to compare. M+ does sound better when listening at a closer distance, and one can adjust the EQ to suit their taste. Charge 4 sounds better outdoor/in a large space.
