I purchased the product to help track jogging distances, and compare data with mates to keep up all motivated during the lock-down and social distancing restrictions in place in the UK during 2020. Within a month it now no longer works at all. When it was working, I have been able to get the watch to turn on, and connect via Bluetooth to Garmin Connect and Strava a few times, but over half the time it simply does not work. The two key issues are:1) The Bluetooth connection is very unreliable. It has never automatically connected via Bluetooth to my phone despite Bluetooth being active on both devices and them next to each other. Normally by turning both on, then off, and removing the Device from the Garmin Connect app and re-installing it, you can get it to work. There is no simple, old-fashioned wire so no other option.2) There is regularly no power at all to the device (despite partial charge), when you turn it off, and try to restart. This is an issue, as the only chance you have of connecting the watch to a device (e.g. phone) via Bluetooth, is to turn it on and off again! This could initially be solved by keeping it on the charger, then holding down the ‘light’ (power button) for 15-20 seconds, but after a couple of days trying this intermittently this is currently not working at all.I appreciate £150 is only a month’s worth of London gym membership, but despite the poor reviews I was hoping to get a couple of months out of it. It’s even tricky to recycle now its useless due to the lithium ion battery!

I’ve enjoyed a lot of the standard features – logging runs and bike rides, counting steps and monitoring heart rate. On the map the routes are pretty accurate and the pace has only gone wrong during a long stretch under dense trees. No problems with phone connection (android) for me and the battery does me about a week with 3-4 activities being logged on gps.I don’t wear it at night so can’t comment on sleep monitoring and I turned off the stress feature as it thought I was stressed when in the park running around with the kids intermittently,It’s got me out and running more and running more consistently.

Got this beginning of lockdown. Used connect and linked to Strava.Generally all seemed ok.But if you search the web, you come across hiccups, I came across those too.Sometimes it would not be connected to my phone, but appears it is. Wouldnt sync.Started to not or sometimes wouldnt connect with my cadence sensor. Changed that and the battery. No betterTurn watch off and on, all ok.This became the norm turn watch off then on would connect with cadence and phone.Sometimes move away from phone, wouldnt then reconnect. I put up with this sketchy performance for a few months thinking it was just a thing. Then it seemed to get worseSometimes watch just refused to turn on.Finally contacted ClickElectronics and they did exchange the watch.Wanted to upgrade but they couldnt do that.New watch arrived. Set up as required. If you are using iOS do not use the phone to connect, only use the app. This watch does behave differently, very differently to my otherBut it works totally, I dont have to turn it offIt always reconnects with my phone and when I go out of range it tells meIt tells me when Im back in range. It always connects to my cadence sensorIt always uploads my ride.So Im pleased with this watch now, I was annoyed with the other.

This watch was actually much better than I expected. I was looking for a simple GPS running watch to upgrade an old forerunner 25. This watch exceeded my expectations in every way. As well as the running features, it’s also an excellent smart watch, receiving messages and emails from my android phone. It can also be used to control the phones music playback.Battery life is excellent – I’m going 4-5 days between charges with 30 mins GPS a day on a cycle commute
