If you want to get your subject highly in focus whilst other features remain blurry this is the lens for you. To do this you need a lens with a low f stop. This has and f stop of 1.8 which is not the lowest but it’s fairly low. It’s good for taking close up shots of nature, flowers insects etc, also good for portraits. I think at the price it is well worth it for the level of image I have got out of it.
