This a great lens. Image quality and colour is perfect. Auto focus fast and accurate, love the IS system. It really works very well. Another thing I loved is the minimal focus distance less than one metre.

At first I was very reluctant to get this lens due to the high cost but the solidly built quality, and exceptional image performance makes it well worth it. Glad I bought it! All the reviews rating it highly were spot on.

Perfect. No problems whatsoever. I had owned this model of lens for two years and stupidly sold it when I upgraded to a mirrorless with 600 lens. I quickly realized I wanted it back again and there were no used ones in my area, so I got it new again. It is the same incredible quality I had before. It was shipped promptly and left on my doorstep when I was not home. LUCKILY nobody stole the package. That would have put a huge damper on my otherwise great experience. The price was $400 less than my camera store. Glad to save the extra money.

From portraits to wildlife/birding, this lens gives you a piece of everything. The optics are very sharp wide open, and can easily take a 1.4x extender if your camera’s AF permits. AF is very fast and sure except for extreme low light. IS is excellent, and offers 3 modes depending on your use case. The lens is easy enough to carry in many large cases, with a compacted size similar to any 70-200 f2.8.The 100-400 is a lot more versatile than the 70-200, and this is a great choice if you’re looking for a native lens.

The lens quality is just awesome. Just bought it and have used it to shoot a few pics. I am using the lens on my Canon 760D, and I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. Though the lens is quite expensive, it is worth every rupee.I am giving 4-Star as ClickElectronics messed with the delivery. Although the product came with a Guaranteed Delivery date, ClickElectronics did not make the delivery by the Guaranteed Date. Even the customer service was not very helpful.

As a person who sits somewhere between picture taker and photographer, purchasing this lens has always been a dream/dread of mine. I take a fair amount of distance shots of moving objects so finding a lens that could auto focus quickly enough at extension was always something that sat on my shopping list, but balancing the cost of the lens against the level of pictures I was taking kept me from biting the bullet and putting the lens in my bag.Bite the bullet.Simply put, the lens is worth it.I have tried the imitators/contenders and have a couple thousand dollars worth of lens that simply just don’t do what I wanted them to do. This one does.If your current lens/lenses keep disappointing you, take the trip and get this lens. You won’t be disappointed

Worth Every Penny! … from someone who counts their pennies.I use this lens for wildlife photography, ranging from bears to eagles, and it’s performance is nothing short of spectacular. Combined with my Canon 5Div camera, I’m thrilled with every photo I take. Image stabilization is noticable and next level compared to my last IS lens. The 100-400 range provides versitility and is light enough to take back-country hiking (as an experienced hiker, who’s cool with a bit of extra weight).Canon has been known to overcharge $ for performance, but not here. You get what you pay for, this lens is truely phenomenal.

Wonderful lens at a reasonable price. As a relative novice I had been using a standard Canon lens (70-300mm) which I was very happy with but wanted greater zoom to capture wildlife photographs. The difference between this professional L-series lens and my original standard Canon lens is noticeable and I’m extremely happy with the enhanced image quality as well as the increased range.
