The earphones were fine with intermittent connection problems, but getting to their first charge, they do not charge and I have 3 flashing white lights.The community forum is not helpful and having spent the money I have, I will not accept a 2 to 3 week lead time for service, so I will return these and never buy Bose again.Very dissapointed

So the good first:The fit, sound quality and noise cancelling are all goodThe bad:No way to turn them off when you get to work/other destination.This results in the battery draining for the rest of the day until you get back to where the charge box is.No way to buy another charge box!The software is buggy as hell, when you try and reconnect them on your iPhone, it connects and then immediately disconnects, continuously.This then renders them unusable.Who at Bose designed this? They need to get fired ASAP!Bose used to be great but this is just a terrible user experience, especially for the price.Please dont buy them for you or anyone else!

Unexpectedly great. Good audio and a wide, deep sound stage. Rock solid connection to Mac/iPhone/iPad. Superb noise cancellation. Musical and full of rhythm: toe tapping stuff. Tidy bass without any bloat. Touch controls work well and the units are not even slightly microphonic.I didnt really expect to write much of the above. I thought they would have good nice cancellation, a Bose trademark. I wasnt expecting them to be so very good. The fit is extremely good and very comfortable: follow the instructions and try the different wing tip sizes to ensure the best sound. Worth noting that the three different sized tips only differ in the wing dimension: the nozzles, the part that goes into the ear canal, are identical in each tip. For me, size 2 was very comfortable but didnt seal sufficiently for the noise cancellation to work. Size 3 cured the problem and holds the devices firmly in the ear. None of this feeling that theyre going to fall out all the time, or move around when walking (Im looking at you, AirPods and AirPods Pro). Id feel perfectly ok using these when running or cycling, except I personally dont as I prefer to be aware of my surroundings when exercising. They would easily withstand the rigours of such a use case and even have an environmental protection rating.Highly recommended and well worth the money.

I really wanted to love these – I’d read loads of reviews, and I love Bose products.On opening them I found that they were exactly as I’d expected, nicely packaged, the charging case a bit bulky, the earbuds were easy to get securely in the ear, and much better than my Airpod Pro’s in this respect.The noise cancellation was fantastic, as was the sound quality – at least it was in my living room!Once I took them out on a bike ride, I knew sadly I’d have to return them. The mic’s pick up loads of wind noise and amplify it. It’s not quite so bad if you engage full noise cancellation, but not to the extent that I’d find them usable.The perfect earbuds would be Airpod Pro’s, which fit as well as the Bose’s. Sadly the search must go on!

Very disappointed with these which arrived on Tuesday Set them up on Wednesday 30th and all seemed great. The noise cancelling was especially impressive plus the fit in the ears, despite them looking rather bulky in photos, was very good as the fins go in very tightly and they felt very secure. I’ve also got Sony WF-1000XM3’s and Apple AirPods Pro for comparison. I’m not an audiophile and I have no idea what “mids” and “highs” are….if the earphones sound good then I’m happy.I was certainly very happy with how these things started off but then things went downhill quite quickly….Then went out for a walk and within 5 minutes I noticed that the ANC had stopped. I used the Bose app to restart it but again, a few minutes later it went off by itself again….rinse repeat. I reset them in the case as per Bose instructions but to no avail. I’d be standing in the house waiting to go outside with the earbuds in, with the Bose app open and the bar that shows the level of noise cancelling would just move down to zero by itself!I’m actually rather disappointed as I’ve started a return and they need to go back however they were very a very good fit, the sound was really good and the ANC, when it initially worked for a short time, was really rather good…much better than my AirPods Pro, for example (as was the sound quality).If you get a pair without the ANC fault you will probably really like them.Updated – 3 days later!I reset them again & repaired them to my iPhone 12 Pro Max and the NC has worked very well since. There has also been a software update which allows you to change the volume by swiping up and down on the right earbud.This works very well.The ANC is very good, much better than on the Sennheiser Momentum 2 which I also had but sold as they kept falling out of my ears.I will definitely be keeping these now as they meet all my needs, the sound is great, they stay in my ears and are very comfortable to wear, the noise cancelling is very good and it is easy to use the controls.
