I find that Sony own brand offers best return of power/time when used on A6500. I have three as well as 4 generic brands. These out perform by 20%.

2 x Batteries we purchased and both worked for a few days before camera began to say ‘not compatible’ on one and the second one last week. Not sure if this is an issue with some batteries stocked by this supplier possibly being counterfeit (as suggested by some message boards) or just manufacturing faults. In any case now the return date has expired and I do not have the option to ask for a replacement.Is there a contact number to claim under the warranty?

I used to buy the wasabi brand crap which would show charged after six months of use and when put in the camera would discharge and shut down my camera after 10-20 minutes. utter crap. only genuine from now on

Der Akku wurde komplett entladen geliefert, nach dem Aufladen war dieser innerhalb von einer 1/2 Stunde wieder leer, für so einen teuren Akku so eine schlechte Leistung, nein Danke, grenzt schon von Seiten des Lieferanten anrüchig. Also zurück an den Verkäufer.
