Mrs. L. Cunningham –
I bought this as a spare battery for my Canon Eos 760D camera. I had previously bought equivalent batteries by another maker but Canon have now started fitting a security chip in these so your camera does not necessarily function fully with anyone’s product other than their own grossly overpriced product. However, I have also discovered that RavPower can provide a set of two batteries plus a charger for approximately half the cost of the Canon battery alone, and these batteries appear to be reliable and fully compatible with the camera.

Genuine Canon product performs as expected.Nothing worse than having an amazing scene to photograph and the battery in the camera dies.I’m very satisfied with this battery pack.
Veronica Reyna –
A bit overpriced but it is a Canon original. This battery works well with my Canon 750D (not only M3 as title suggests, probably other models too)

Overpriced Essential Accessory.,It seems that Digital Cameras and their batteries have now gone the way of Printer Cartridges by restricting functionality if Third-Party manufactured items are attempted to be used with the device.? I have tried using the cheaper alternatives and find that with the lack of voltage indication you are taking a great risk if using these.? and have decided to stick to Canon Originals in future.

This battery is not sold with a I year guarantee or any guarantee about a faulty product. I bought one 6 months ago and used it perhaps 2-3 times before it stopped charging. The light on the charger flashes, perhaps indicating a fault, and when the battery is put in the camera, it shows that it’s almost empty and has failed to charge. The packaging does not mention a guarantee and ClickElectronics will not accept a return. I suggest that you buy the battery from a real shop so at least you have someone to complain to if it stops working.

How many times do you go out for an epic photo shoot? Shoot wonderful photos? Maybe even hike up to some amazing scenery. Let’s add some more perspective. You’ve travelled to Yosemite Valley from London. It has taken days for you to get here. The weather is -9 degrees and you still decide to hike to find this beautiful waterfall. You climb in your Nike Flyknits because you were so unprepared for this trip. You still decide it is your destiny to beat mother nature and trek up to the top so you can prove you can do it. You slide on the ice. You get on your hands and knees to get past the more strenuous areas. You take a couple pics but you really know where the big one is gonna come from. You eventually get up to the top, above the waterfall and below Half Dome. You get the settings ready for your long exposure to impress your mum. You half click. change shutter speed a little more. Tripod is set. Half click again. Yeah looks good. You go to press it and BAAAAAMMM_______________battery has run out. You couldn’t capture the moment. You don’t even want to reach into your pocket to get your iPhone 6 to take the photo because it will haunt you for days.Luckily for us though, we had this replacement battery pack. Switch up and Click Click Click, photos galore. Enjoy the experience of throwing a snowball down a waterfall and head back down before dusk. It’s a simple product. But it does the job.

Very very expensive!

Stupidly expensive compared to other compatible batteries, but probably worth it not to have a warning message about a non-Canon battery pop up every time I switch my camera on. (Canon thought that one through very carefully, I’m sure.) On the plus side, this charges at a fair speed and holds its charge for a good while , too.

Genuine Canon battery

Does what it says on the tin. Didn’t take long to charge, maybe a couple of hours. Shame the Canon batteries are so expensive, I’ve seen many for a 3rd of the price, but they all say they are incompatible with the Canon charger and don’t give charge information in-camera. No use to me.
